本片延续了黄百鸣一贯贺岁喜剧的各种笑料，虽都是老套手法，但每一场戏依旧都会让观众爆笑不止；杜汶泽和郑中基等人再次贡献了爆笑演技。

香港每年都会有这样的贺岁片，而且从没让我失望过，虽然跟内地的喜剧片有些区别，但是我是看香港喜剧片长大的，喜欢香港喜剧这种纯粹的搞笑。

香港喜剧近些年明显式微，但这部贺岁喜剧还是给人不少的欣慰，值得一看。
